Pt. Defiance Zoological Society Names New Executive Director

Tacoma, WA - September 27, 2007 – Erik Hynes, Board Chair of the Society, has announced that Ms. Caryl Zenker has been chosen by its board as Executive Director. She will be officially joining the society on October 22, 2007.

The Zoo Society supports the mission of Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma by providing financial and in-kind resources for the Zoo's recreation, education and conservation programs; its animal collections; and its permanent and temporary exhibits and exhibitions.
